: I am currently running a G3/300 beige with MKLinux, and i just got a new PC (yuck) laptop and i want to try to put MK on it so i can use my mac server and the pc together. I know there is a PC version of MK but i cant find the bugger. Can anyone help? Or is there a Linux that is compatiable with MK? I know MK is based of RedHat but i dont think the two can work together.
There is a version that was based on DR1, the current kernel doesn't compile but I modified it to compile but now I can't get it to boot. I think the mach_boot located in the directory posted below will boot the older stuff. I wish that I could run mk on my Intel boxes too but I have been unsuccessful. Let me and others know if you are able to get it going. Nothing is too easy as the work is old.

I would suggest Redhat as MkLinux is based on a redhat distribution. Then the user stuff will be the same and the only difference will be the kernel (except the better hardware support). You can ask on a mklinux-intel list from mklinux.org if you would like to find out more information.

Location of what once was mklinux-intel:
