When can we 'get our hands on' the R1 CD?

Maybe I have missed something here? When will the R1 CD become available?
Will it work run on my PMac 8500 (I am running DR3 without a hitch at
the moment). Will PTF still provide the CD and reference materal as in
the past? (this was a nice package!)
