Wanting to try LinuxPPC and MKLinux...

I see in various places that LinuxPPC is supposed to be able to work with an MKLinux file system. I have installed MKLinux DR3 and would like to also try LinuxPPC. Just installing BootX and a LinuxPPC kernel doesn't work. Has anybody else tried doing this? Is there any place I can get help?
