: I have a Mac 7100/66 and I tried to upgrade my kernel/server from my stock DR3 MkLinux distribution. I downloaded the Generation 8 binaries (from the "stable" directory).

: Anyway, when I try to boot, after the microkernel boots (but before the blue-background server starts), the monitor turns off. I assume from the lack of hard drive activity that the boot process has stopped.

: The old DR3 microkernel works fine with the new server (vmlinux).

: Any ideas?

I have the same problem using a 6100... I think you correct about the lack of activity, I have no clue as to be able to fix it.
